Sam Knowles
Samantha is the Chief Finance Officer responsible for the delivery of financial services to the Councils and the Company, including Financial Budgeting, Management& Controls, Capital, Treasury & Income Management, Year End Accounts, VAT, Accounts Payable and Insurance Administration.
The Financial Services function is responsible for adding value to clients and company management, through the delivery of quality professional financial advice, analysis, information and services. Samantha works collaboratively with Officers in the Councils to ensure the delivery of core financial services which ensure the robust and effective management of the Councils' finances across all departmental services.
Samantha is a Chartered Accountant and has a strong background in financial services with over 20 years' experience in the public sector, having previously held a Deputy S151 Officer role with South Holland District Council.
