Our Financial Services Department take pride in their ability to deliver a wide range of fully managed finance functions for our client councils leaving them free to shape and deliver essential public services across their districts.
The department provides high quality end-to-end financial management of budgets totalling over £47m on behalf of our client councils, providing advice and support to a wide range of service departments.
The Financial Services Department also provide client councils with products and solutions for making payments to its business partners and suppliers processing over 23,500 invoices annually as well as delivering and maintaining a number of complex financial systems that support day to day delivery of financial services.
Our Treasury & Investment function manages client council's short-term assets and liabilities ensuring that they have the optimum amount of working capital to support day to day services.
Investing on average over £115m at any one time, we provide expert support and advice to maximise councils returns on investments, whilst at the same time providing specialist advice and support in other key areas such as banking, insurance and VAT.
All our Financial Services Teams enjoy a close working relationship with our client councils to make certain that they receive the best advice possible and ensure that all their statutory and discretionary financial requirements are met.
