Revenues & Benefits
Our experienced Revenues and Benefits service collect and recover a combined £185million in council tax and business rates each year on behalf of our local authority client Councils. We serve a caseload of 15,000 claimants on housing benefit, and 19,000 on Council Tax Support. Our service extends to the recovery of a further £16million in respect of sundry debt and Housing Benefit overpayment.
We are focused on delivering high quality professional services, and achieve this through our end to end service model and approach to performance monitoring and management. Maximising revenue, and minimising loss and avoidance is a primary objective for our service, and we operate pro-actively through a range of activity including interventions, fraud investigation, review and visiting programmes.
Our accuracy has ensured our client Councils achieve the highest level of government subsidy, and our benefits processing outperforms national averages.
A number of our team members are professionally qualified members of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation (IRRV), and our investment in ongoing learning and development of our team ensures a highly knowledgeable and experienced workforce, that ensures quality and compliance.
