The Corporate Services Team is responsible for providing the Company with centralised support functions, including Business & Performance Management, Business Administration, Communications, Health & Safety, Internal Audit, Information Governance, Business Continuity, Transformation and oversight of external contractual and third party support providers.
Health and Safety
Our team of Health and Safety experts support more than a thousand employees and their respective services across the Company, East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Breckland District Council.
Our team are all either qualified chartered members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or working towards an accreditation, and they have overall responsibility for managing the Corporate Health and Safety Framework for the Councils and the Company. This includes ensuring that a suitable and legally compliant framework is in place and that it is followed correctly by all relevant employees. We write policies, procedures and guidance for staff, and we complete audits and inspections to help ensure compliance.
Protecting staff and customers is our primary objective, closely followed by our responsibilities in protecting the organisations we provide Health and Safety services for.
Our Business Support team help to make sure that our business administration is legally compliant and effective.
With the delivery of outstanding performance a cornerstone of the Company's mission, we ensure a focus on delivering high quality professional services. We are responsible for setting effective KPIs and Service Level Agreements, as well as producing high quality performance reports and performance scrutiny.
We help ensure that our business management practices are sound and robust, including attention to: supporting with procurement and contract management processes, having oversight of the audit processes, and ensuring there is a robust and effective approach to Business Continuity management across the Company.
Our Head of Corporate Services is the Company's Data Protection Officer (DPO), with a responsibility for ensuring that the Company is compliant with Information Governance related legislation and responsibilities.
